Mr Amadou MAGASSOUBA

Mr. Magassouba has over 30 years of experience in maritime transport, as well as across the entire chain of transport and logistics support services, including maritime agency services, port cargo handling, freight forwarding, and customs clearance of goods, both for import and export, by sea, air, and land, under end-to-end international commercial contracts (“door-to-door”).
As a hardworking, dedicated, and competent professional throughout these years, he has built his career in several areas of the maritime transport support services chain and has held various positions of responsibility.
Indeed, he worked for major multinational companies such as Maersk Line, the global leader in the shipping industry, where he spent more than seventeen (17) years in vessel operations and in monitoring cargo loading and unloading operations at the Port of Conakry in the Republic of Guinea and at the Port of Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire. He also worked for OBT Shipping for four (4) years and for Winning Ship Management for three (3) years, as well as for other local companies in Guinea.
In addition, he has worked in the field of maritime expertise and maritime litigation for the resolution of shipping disputes. He has also served in the representation of Protection and Indemnity Clubs (P&I Clubs) on behalf of cargo insurers, as well as as a Protecting Agent on behalf of shipowners and charterers.
